Hello parents and students!
My name is Ms. Finley and I am very excited to be teaching this kindergarten class. I specifically created this site
for you all to get to know me a little bit better, and hopefully I can learn some things about each and every one of you as
well.
FOR THE PARENTS: You all are welcome any time in my classroom. I could really use a lot of help for some of the activities
that I have planned. Even if you would like to sit in and observe what we do from day to day, I am sure that all of the students
would be as excited as I am if you would come.
FOR THE STUDENTS: I am excited to be working with all of you this year. It is going to be a tough one, but I know that
we all are going to help each other out to get through it. Let's have fun and learn a lot of new things starting on day one!
The reason for starting this website is to give students and parents a way to know what is going on in the classroom.
Parents, I hope that you especially can benifit from this site. I plan to be posting weekly outlines of my lesson plans and
update you on student achievements and projects coming up that may need a little volunteering on your part. For the studets,
this site will have updated homework deadlines, rules and expectations in the classroom, and extra activies on the web (with
parent permission) that are fun and helpful!

What's New?
This section of my page is where you can find all of the updates that you could possibly imagine. This is where students
can find important dates like holidays/time off of school and homework and project deadlines with frequent reminders
of them as they get closer. Parents can quickly be informed of changes on my site, volunteer opporitunites, and school/classroom
events.
